Super Bowl Time!

In anticipation of Super Bowl weekend, I am opening up a general topic for discussion. Anyone throwing a party, wagering a significant amount of money, ordering the Lingerie Bowl?

I checked out ESPN's top 100 Super Bowl Moments, including the famous Leon Lett forced fumble which inspired me to pick up the Super Bowl XXV DVD. Can't imagine why, though . . . Oh, that Leon Lett!

I hit a tree today

But I hit it in a sleazy way.

I actually hit the tree on Tuesday. It messed my alignment up pretty good. I was pulling e-brake turns and generally flipping out, and I slammed on the brakes going around this corner and started skidding, I saw the tree and figured I would slow down enough, but I didn't.

The thing Is, I had been skidding all around all day and if I had just let off the brake a little, I'd have been fine. The damage didn't cost me anything except maybe resale value and looks (paint) but the new DZ needs some battle scars.

Who's got a car crash story to talk about?

As we get older

All this jerky talk has gotten me hungry for some. But then I thought back to a cornell road trip... and an unforgettable night in a common area. It left me craving the beef I can enjoy without teef.

Once I get old and lose all my teeth, I'll be on a steady diet of this.

Is Scottigee's post "Meaningless drivel?" YOU DECIDE! The entire text of the post is as follows:
What Up, Buk?

I haven't heard from the Buk in a while. I'm sure he has more interesting things to say than this Hagan fellow.
Ok Buk - go.

It just ain't fair...

I don't know how my posts count as meaningless dribble and the crap right below this one is allowed to stay up...but such is life in a dictatorship. This must be how the Iraqi's felt. Blunt may weild comment and thread deleting powers, but that doesn't mean it ain't gay

Anyhoo - I got crap for Xmas. So I brought said crap back and got gift cards at a multitude of Craptoriums such as the Sharper Image and Robinson's Gay. I don't know how these stores have gone on as long as they have peddling such useless junk.
I was at least happpy to be able to buy my magnetic dartboard online, but lo and behold you can't do the same with Robinson's Gay. Even though I found the one cool thing they sell - the fossil leather flask. This shit is cool.
So I walked all around 2 Robinson's Gay stores and wasted way to much of my time trying to find this item that they no longer sell because it was determined to be too cool for their stores.
Short story long, I ordered the damn thing from Fossil.com, paid $10 more, and I still have a $27.27 gift card to Robinsons Gay if anybody wants anything.

This week I had a lot of fun talking to people. I talked to Two Nigerians, a Belarusian, an El Salvadorian, a Sri Lankan and a German Wal*Mart cashier with Torrets whose girlfriend in Atlanta showed him a couple things over her webcam (She's a real goer. Wink wink, nudge nudge). Say no more!

I rode a segway this week. It was pretty shweet. Nothing spectacular, but it was definitely a novel experience. It's definitely easy to fall off one of them when you're riding one for the first time, they make you sign a waiver. If you're down in the DC area, check out the Brookstone in Tyson's Corner One to Have a ride.

I'm also reading Love Is The Killer App and it's pretty good, although the verbiage is pretty queah.

Definitely on point with my business. Reading every night now, and working out every morning, and getting five names a day. Kicking it into high gear because there's no other option. This is all due in part to my wonderful external motivator, and it's just the beginning.

OK. Check this out.

That is all.

The Continuing Saga of Andy Milonakis

Not sure if this is old news, but aparantly the hardcore rapper from Astoria, Queens turns out to be 27.

He has a growth hormone disease. His website is still one of the funniest things ever. I know pat has posted the website already, just as a reference. His accents are unreal.

REWARD: Will Pay Cash for Picture of Nate's Mom

Seriously, this has gone on long enough. I'm not trying to be a dick here, I just want to see what she looks like. All the hype....is it true? Nate you may even want to get in on this since you probably have some of the best pictures out there.
I just want a good shot of her face and bod. If the two are covered in different pictures that's fine. I will award $10 to $14.35 according to how good I determine the pictures to be.
make that $14.40, I just found a nickel in my underwear. Don't ask.

Ok shutterbugs....get to it. It's easy money. Spytec I know you have a few pics just laying around. ElSrouji, are you out there?

I picked her up on Saturday night and we went down to DuPont Circle to check out the Scientologist's Church. First, however, we went and got some cappucino at Starbucks. So we went in shivering and clasping our tres materialistique drinks and asked where the movie was.

Moses was going to help us out and set up a film to watch. He told us that we should watch a DVD and then we'd watch the film. Well, we never got to the film. The DVD seemed pretty informative, but I don't think we really got the full effect of Scientology. We never even got the tour! Moses was nowhere to be found after he set us in front of the DVD.

I think what we saw was a picture of what the tenets of Dianetics were. The movie told me that I was being influenced by my unconscious and that I had the power to change my unconscious by cleansing the memories. There was this scene where a man was being psychoanalyzed by someone and brought up this memory where he broke up with his girlfriend because of some EMTs. Trust me on that one.

Overall, the experience was a lot less cultish than I had expected. I wasn't converted, but I recognize the concept behind Scientology as a viable psychological path to improve your life. I would investigate it for yourself because it seems that you could hold your own religious beliefs and practice the Scientology concepts without them conflicting too much.

Losing our Edge Fellas

So the resort in WV wasn't too bad. Good packed powder. This on the other hand is very bad.
We seem to be losing our one major advantage over women.. the ability to pee standing up.

If Magic Cone doesn't make sense to you.. don't worry this picture should clear it up 100%.
I'm thinking these would be great for funneling beers.

Yeah

I was getting off the Metro going to a friend's party in DuPont last April, and This guy came out of nowhere and handed me a ticket for a free movie. Obviously you're going to take a pass for a free movie, so I took one. It wasn't a "go see whatever movie you want at Hoyts" free movie pass, but I was intrigued. It was a pass to a free showing of Dianetics; a half hour breakdown of the religion at the DC Church of Scientology.

I wanted to go. This girl I was with didn't. Didn't even know a thing about Scientology, but yet had no interest in ever wanting to go. Well tonight on the phone, someone new accepted when I asked her if I should conference call the Scientologists at 11:15 in the evening to see when the movies were playing on Saturday to schedule a date.

Moral of the story: feel free to call these guys at pretty much any time of day.

I'd just like to reiterate this.

Sorry about the short, nonsensical posts, but these posts are more for my personal history than for my readers. I just want to make sure I encapsulate time correctly so when I look back at my life, I can remember the interesting and important moments. I'd like to write more on here, but I have so many other things that take precedence at this time.

Some day, I'll be a world class author (and chef), but right now, I gotta study.
